Dr. Patti Jolie:

Dr. Jolie graduated from the University of Connecticut in 1981, with a BS in Pathobiology.  She then was accepted into the School of Veterinary Medicine at Purdue University, graduating in 1985.

Dr. Jolie has had a vast range of professional jobs, including private practice, emergency medicine and shelter medicine. She opened her own privately owned Veterinary Hospital on June 16, 2003. We currently work with three rescue organizations.

Dr. Jolie's interests in veterinary medicine include dentistry, surgery (utilizing laser) and cold laser therapy.   The doctor attended the Chi Institute in Spring of 2017 to pursue certification in acupuncture, and is currently offering acupuncture services. Since then she has taken classes for food therapy, herbs (medicine) and tui na (medical massage therapy). These services are also available at Hearthstone Veterinary Hospital. 

Dr. Jolie is single and has two adult children. She traveled to China in November of 2017, which was fascinating! Her focus in life is family and veterinary medicine. She was co-leader of a youth group at her church, and was deeply involved in her son's Boy Scout Troop. After hours, she is involved with local theater groups as a stage manager and costumer.
